Support Emergency Relief

Emerging health issues and crisis make it necessary to develop locally-led projects that transform health outcomes in our villages.

Dynamic Responses

Our Malian staff is uniquely positioned to address emergency situations and pervasive health issues like disease prevention and food insecurity. With decades of experience, they are on the front lines to serve the people of Ouelessebougou. They have strong relationships with the Ouelessebougou hospital, local government, and the Mali Ministry of Health. During times of crisis, like the Ebola or COVID-19 pandemic, our Mali staff has served as trusted advisors and mobilized projects to relieve the suffering of local villagers. Because of our effective community-based health programs, we are able to locally vet the most urgent needs and provide resources for relief.

Projects are dynamic and dependent on community collaboration. Recent projects have included emergency corn and millet distribution, Internally Displaced People relief efforts, health training and awareness, public service announcements, face mask distribution, sanitation, and more.
